Fringe Festival Overwhelm

Why doesn’t Fringe Arts have a calendar on their site? Because this is what it looks like.

Too many shows!

To make sense of this and coordinate everything on my personal calendar, I built a workflow in Obsidian. While browsing, I can mark shows as interesting. That’s where I start: do I even care to see this? If not, get it out of my view because it’s noise.

Taking my narrowed list of interesting shows, then I decide whether or not there are conflicts with other shows. (I cannot be in two places at once.)

When I finally purchase tickets, I mark it as such and record it in my personal calendar. And like that I’ve reduced decision fatigue by a factor of ten (just an estimate.)
